Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and frozen peas. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice and beef mixture. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
