Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni, sausage, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
Pour mixture into a baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes:
Feel free to add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
