Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, chopped onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and arrange tater tots on top in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
