Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
  • Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the cheese sauce over your prepared ingredients in a baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes:

Feel free to add cooked pasta or vegetables to make it a more hearty meal.
