Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup onions diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese your choice
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the chopped cabbage for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, sauté the onions, carrots, and garlic until tender.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked cabbage, sautéed vegetables, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
