Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • 3. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • 4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, cooked rice, frozen peas, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • 5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
  • 6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor and nutrition.
