Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, pinto beans, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add some jalapeños for a spicy kick!
