Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 cups Frozen Tater Tots

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add more veggies or use ground turkey for a lighter version.
