Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the tortilla chips and enchilada sauce.
Layer half of the tortilla chips mixture in a baking dish.
Top with shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheese.
Add the remaining tortilla chips mixture on top.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Top with sour cream, chopped cilantro, and sliced avocado before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add other toppings like jalapeños or a squeeze of lime.
