Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz Tortilla chips
  • 2 cups Red enchilada sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded chicken cooked
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro
  • 1 Avocado sliced

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the tortilla chips and enchilada sauce.
  • Layer half of the tortilla chips mixture in a baking dish.
  • Top with shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Add the remaining tortilla chips mixture on top.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Top with sour cream, chopped cilantro, and sliced avocado before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other toppings like jalapeños or a squeeze of lime.
