Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Onions, sliced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Crushed crackers
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced onions, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salt, and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the onion mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This onion casserole is perfect for family gatherings or potlucks. Adjust seasoning to taste.
