Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Stale bread, cubed about 8 cups
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dried sage
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread and vegetable broth. Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the liquid.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped celery and onion, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the sautéed vegetables to the bread mixture. Stir in the dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
