Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Strawberries sliced
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. Grease a baking dish and add the cubed French bread and sliced strawberries.
  • 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • 4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and strawberries, making sure everything is well coated.
  • 5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  • 7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

You can prepare this casserole the night before and refrigerate it. Just bake it in the morning for a quick and easy breakfast.
