ground beef

onion, chopped

cabbage, shredded

crescent roll dough

cups
shredded cheese
to taste
salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
Add shredded cabbage to the skillet and cook until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and spread it on the bottom of a baking dish.
Spread the beef and cabbage mixture over the dough. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This casserole is a great way to enjoy the flavors of a traditional Runza without all the work.
