1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange the bread cubes in the dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour over the bread cubes, making sure all are soaked. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, mix together butter, brown sugar, pecans, and corn syrup. Spread mixture over the bread.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden. Serve warm.

Best served with a drizzle of maple syrup and a side of fresh fruit.
