Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some jalapeños for extra heat!
