milk

butter
melted

cheddar cheese
shredded
to taste

black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash them in a mixing bowl.
Mix in the beaten eggs, milk, melted butter, and half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
