Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash them in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the beaten eggs, milk, melted butter, and half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
