Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Bell Pepper
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in the cooked rice and tomato sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole is perfect for a family dinner or potluck. You can also add other vegetables like corn or peas for extra flavor.
