Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, French onion soup, cooked mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole is great for a cozy dinner. You can add some cooked chicken or beef for extra protein.
