Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 cup French Onion Soup canned or homemade
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Gruyere or Swiss
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, French onion soup, cooked mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole is great for a cozy dinner. You can add some cooked chicken or beef for extra protein.
