Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice and the beef mixture. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
