Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups turnips, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil turnips in salted water until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Mash turnips with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread mashed turnips in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
