Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced squash
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the sliced squash, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salt, and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with bread crumbs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the squash is tender.

Notes:

Feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
