Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your smoker to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, chopped onions, and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • Top with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  • Place the baking dish in the smoker and cook for 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the smoker and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to smoke. Adjust cooking time if baking from cold.
