Hamburger Potato Carrot Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, carrots, and onions. Add the cooked ground beef on top.
  • Layer the remaining potatoes, carrots, and onions. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the top.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other veggies like peas or corn for extra flavor.
