Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish.
Layer the bread slices in the dish.
Sprinkle diced ham and shredded cheese over the bread.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ham, and cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
