Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bread preferably stale
  • 1 cup Diced ham
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Layer the bread slices in the dish.
  • Sprinkle diced ham and shredded cheese over the bread.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ham, and cheese.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Great for using up leftover ham and stale bread.
