Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 4 large potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  • In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, chopped cabbage, and ground beef mixture.
  • Pour the beef broth over the layers. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole is great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
