Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
  • Mash the potatoes with garlic, milk, and butter until smooth.
  • Spread the mashed potatoes in a casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

You can add some chopped chives or parsley on top for extra flavor and color.
