Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Summer sausage sliced
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer the sliced summer sausage in a baking dish.
  • Pour the milk and egg mixture over the sausage.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Top with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some veggies like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
