Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups mirliton, peeled and diced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Creole seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mirliton, shrimp mixture, mayonnaise, Creole seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer to a baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs and cheese.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
