Ingredients:

  • 6 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the cooked potatoes to the bowl and mash until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
