Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, cook the cabbage in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In the same pot, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
In a baking dish, layer half of the cabbage, then half of the meat mixture. Repeat layers.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes:
This dish is even better the next day!
