Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 large Spaghetti Squash
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • Place the squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes, until tender.
  • Use a fork to scrape out the spaghetti-like strands from the squash into a large bowl.
  • Mix the squash strands with marinara sauce, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole is a great low-carb alternative to traditional pasta dishes.
