Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bread preferably stale
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese cheddar or your favorite
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 units Eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Layer half of the bread slices in the dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the bread.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread and cheese.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the bread and cheese layers.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.
