Ingredients:

  • 1 lb deer sausage
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the deer sausage to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole is great for using up leftover rice and can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
