Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
Add a layer of onions and half of the cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, onions, and cheese.
Pour the heavy cream over the layers.
Drizzle melted butter on top.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
Bake for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
