Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning and salsa to the beef. Stir to combine and cook for another 5 minutes.
In a baking dish, spread a layer of refried beans. Place a tortilla on top.
Spread a layer of the beef mixture over the tortilla, followed by a layer of cheese. Repeat the layers, ending with cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with chopped tomatoes and green onions before serving.
Notes:
You can add other toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or jalapeños if you like.
