Ingredients:  

Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Mashed Potatoes

  • 4 Potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
  • Place meatballs in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  • While meatballs are baking, boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Remove meatballs from oven. Spread mashed potatoes over meatballs in the baking dish.
  • Return to oven and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown on top.
