Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf King's Hawaiian bread cubed
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and add cubed King's Hawaiian bread.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Serve with maple syrup or fresh berries for added flavor.
