Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 cups Sliced Carrots
  • 2 cups Peas
  • 3 cups Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onions and sliced carrots to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
