Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, making sure they are well coated.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
