Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil the rutabaga cubes in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and mash.
In a mixing bowl, combine mashed rutabagas, heavy cream, melted butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Notes:
For a twist, add some grated cheese on top before baking.
