Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Zucchini, sliced
  • 1 lb Sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent.
  • In a baking dish, layer zucchini, sausage, onions, and cheese.
  • In a bowl, mix milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Pour over the layers in the baking dish.
  • Top with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes:

Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
