Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pot, boil squash and potatoes until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
In a baking dish, layer squash, potatoes, and onions.
Pour milk over the vegetables.
Dot with butter and sprinkle with cheese, salt, and pepper.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
