Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz Green Chile Sauce
  • 12 pieces Corn Tortillas
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  • Add garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper to the beef mixture. Stir well.
  • In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of green chile sauce.
  • Layer 4 tortillas over the sauce, followed by a layer of the beef mixture, and a layer of shredded cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
