Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper to the beef mixture. Stir well.
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of green chile sauce.
Layer 4 tortillas over the sauce, followed by a layer of the beef mixture, and a layer of shredded cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
