Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large casserole dish, combine beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, beef broth, and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender.
Remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
