Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then spread a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or use ground turkey instead of beef.
