Ingredients:

  • 12 pieces Lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 24 oz Marinara sauce
  • 2 cups Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then spread a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or use ground turkey instead of beef.
