Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup raisins (optional)

Topping

  • 0.5 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  • Stir in cooked noodles and raisins (if using).
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix crushed cornflakes, sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the noodle mixture.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes:

Feel free to add more raisins or even some chopped nuts for extra texture.
