Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer half of the beef mixture, then half of the enchilada sauce, and half of the shredded cheese. Repeat the layers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add more spices or toppings like avocado or sour cream.
