Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add cooked chicken or other veggies to make it a complete meal.
