Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 whole Acorn Squash halved and seeded
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place acorn squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, melted butter, salt, and black pepper.
  • Remove squash from oven, scoop out the flesh, and mix it with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes:

Great for a cozy fall dinner.
