Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions: 

  • Mix flour, milk, eggs, salt, and nutmeg to make the spaetzle dough.
  • Boil water and drop dough in small pieces to cook spaetzle.
  • In a pan, melt butter and sauté onion until golden.
  • Mix cooked spaetzle with sautéed onions and cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
